Why this exists

Finding a golf course to play in Massachusetts shouldn't be this hard. GolfNow only lists courses that pay to be on it, leaving out plenty of great public tracks. Googling "golf courses near me" buries you in private country clubs you can't get on, sponsored listings, and SEO spam. And there's no easy way to filter by what actually matters — how many holes, what region, whether you can walk up and book online.

This site is a straightforward directory of every golf course in Massachusetts — public, private, and semi-private. No paid placements, no hidden fees, no agenda. Just the courses.

How it works

The course list is sourced from Mass Golf and maintained by hand. Golf courses don't open and close every month, so the directory stays reasonably current without constant upkeep. When you find something that looks wrong — an old website, a missing booking link, a course that's closed — get in touch and we'll fix it.

What's missing

Some courses are still missing par, course rating, slope, and yardage — we're filling those in over time. Descriptions are sparse for now. If you have accurate information for a course you know well, send it along.
